• California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)
  Regulates privately-owned electric, telecommunications, natural gas, water and transportation companies, in addition to household goods movers and rail safety in California.

  The mission of the agency is to promote and protect the interests of California consumers. 
• CPUC Division of Ratepayer Advocates
  The Division of Ratepayer Advocates of the California Public Utilities Commission is mandated by state law to represent and advocate on behalf of public utility customers to obtain the lowest possible rates consistent with reliable and safe service levels.
